Executive Director Angelica Diggs of the Montclair History Center will lead an introductory workshop on how to conduct oral histories. Workshop attendees will walk away with the basic steps to get started on preserving and documenting stories for future generations. If possible attendees should bring an audio recording device, such as a cell phone to use during the workshop. The Montclair History Center has a collection or oral histories (and growing!) conducted by trained and staff and volunteers which can be found online here.
