Don't miss this unusual opportunity to experiment with watercolors at no charge. Even materials are included. We'll be taking inspiration from a variety of watercolor paintings, including abstracts, portraits, landscapes, and still life compositions. The instructor will bring two or three works to each class for the students to use as reference points, demonstrating technique and how to make the best use of the available tools.
The participants will practice the usage of Western watercolors and application of Sumie Japanese/Chinese painting techniques by exchanging the knowledge and information together in the class. We use a Soho watercolor set made in the United States for the class.
Each set will include a semi moist watercolor panset, one brush set, water cup (Faber-Castelle), and bulk paper (for everyone).
