A storytelling workshop and chance to showcase your work with Montclair Film's Duncan Miller.
Have a story to tell but don't quite know how? Join Duncan Miller of Montclair Film for a workshop on bringing your story to life!
In this workshop you will learn introduction to storytelling, how to create confidence in your performance and presence, and have the opportunity for revisions and feedback. (1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
At the end of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to perform for an audience! (3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
Please bring a 3-6 paragraph written or typed story. Stories must be clean and without profanities.
Space is limited, registration is required.
Duncan Miller, Storytelling Workshop Facilitator, is Montclair Film's Storytelling teacher and coach. Duncan is a former actor and improviser who has performed with The Second City and Improv Olympic in Chicago. He has performed in various theaters, short films, and festivals in New York City, Chicago, and Baltimore prior to earning his Masters Degree in Education.
