Pilates on the Mat: a two months Classical Pilates series. This series follows the original blueprint created by Joseph Pilates over a century ago. Utilizing all 34 exercises of the Pilates Mat sequence, participants will strengthen their core, pelvic floor, and balance; improve posture and learn something new about themselves. We encourage you to have a mat and a light set of weights nearby.
Alina has turned from a decade long Pilate devotee to an enthusiastic Pilates teacher after discovering long-term benefits of the Method in her own body. Alina had completed over 500 hours of Pilates practice and observation in 2018. Since then, she continues her learning by participating in various workshops and working with Master instructors in New York City. Alina’s client base is diverse across generations and geographies. The foundations of her teaching style is the belief in the power of human bodies. Alina’s mantra “It’s okay to do one selfish thing a day” and to her it is practicing Pilates.
