Mindfulness is meditation practice that cultivates a positive state of mind like gratitude, kindness and compassion. We will cover techniques for feeling more connected to our bodies and emotional states. Support will be given for developing a daily sitting practice. This meditation technique can be quite helpful with reduction of stress and emotion regulation. We will cover the following topics: mindful breathing/body, mindful emotions, development of the heart, interpersonal mindfulness, everyday stress reduction and empathy
