This is a free Adult School class. When registering, you will be taken to the Adult School Website.

Join us for a talk on the now-defunct Essex Mountain Sanatorium. We'll touch on why the hospital was built; considering: What is tuberculosis?,  Why was it such a problem?,  Why was this location chosen? We'll also discuss the history of the usage of the building, and then what happened to it.
