A special O Dia das Crianças (Childrens Day) edition of Portuguese Storytelling as part of the Latin American Heritage Celebration.
“Era Uma Vez, na Biblioteca” (Once Upon a Time, at the Library) welcomes all families to celebrate Dia das Crianças (Day of the Children). The stories will be interwoven with little songs and rhymes, all in Portuguese. The storyteller, Ana Cristina Coura, is an educator with a background in psychology who has taught children in Brazil and worked as an art educator.
Registration is recommended; please register each child individually. Made possible by funds from the Essex County Division of Cultural Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
