The Supreme Court appears poised to end race-based affirmative action. CUNY professor and author Evan Mandery will teach you everything you need to know to have a position on the matter--including the constitutional history of affirmative action, the facts and history of the pending lawsuit--SFFA v. Harvard--and the dynamics on the current Court that make the demise of race-based affirmative action near inevitable.
An Emmy and Peabody Award winner, Evan Mandery is a professor at the City University of New York. He has written for the New York Times and Politico and has appeared on The Today Show, CNN, and NPR’s Fresh Air. His journey as a Harvard alum publicly challenging legacy admissions at elite schools led him to write Poison Ivy: How Elite Colleges Divide Us (The New Press).
