Class 2: Genealogy Research Methods
In this session, participants will learn the importance of starting with what they know as well as what they don’t know, how to properly use historical record sets, confirming oral history, correcting false information, evaluating, and using the information obtained.
Class 2: Using DNA to Further Your Research
In this session, participants will learn how DNA can further enhance your genealogy research (paper trail). Information will be shared regarding testing with Ancestry.com, 23andMe, My Heritage, and GedMatch. A portion of this session will also deal with the emotional side of DNA testing.
