Learn all about the décima espinela, a 10-line poetic form created in 1591 during Spain's Siglo de Oro (Golden Age).
Library Staff member Deivis Garcia gives a 30 minute presentation about the décima, and its mark throughout the Latin Americas, with examples in Spanish and English. Afterwards participants can workshop decimas of their own. Speakers of any language are welcome (although the décima is primarily known in Spanish-speaking countries, the form is universal to all syllabic languages).
Registration and masking is required.
