Available to anyone who has taken the Yoga for Older Adults - Basics or Continuing course.
This class focuses on safe approaches for students who prefer a gentle yoga class. Students warm up muscles and joints while seated in a chair. Standing poses are especially tailored to enhance flexibility, balance and strength. The class then transitions to floor work but adaptations are available for students who prefer to remain standing or seated. Relaxing breath practices for stress relief will also be included. Open to anyone with some prior yoga experience. Please bring your own props: a strap or belt, blanket and yoga blocks.
