Local author Hayley Krischer joins us for a virtual discussion of her debut young adult novel “Something Happened to Ali Greenleaf.” The themes of this novel are timely, focusing on sexual assault and the aftermath for survivors. She will be joined by Kiara Sarner, a Sexual Violence Prevention Specialist from SAVE of Essex County (familyserviceleague.org/save-of-essex-county), who will be sharing resources for survivors of sexual assault. The discussion of the book and resources will be followed by a question and answer session for participants. Due to the sensitive subject matter, all questions will be anonymous to other attendees, and will only appear to the panelists and hosts. Hayley Krischer is a writer and journalist. She is a regular contributor to The New York Times, and her work has also appeared in Marie Claire,The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, and more. Registrants will receive a GoToWebinar invitation prior to the event, please provide an email address for the link to be sent.
