Kid Pan Alley's hands-on songwriting workshop inspires kids to be the creators of their own culture and to learn to work in a collaborative setting.
Looking for ways to keep your child creatively engaged? Kid Pan Alley has launched a virtual version of its group songwriting workshops for elementary school children! Kid Pan Alley's hands-on workshop inspires kids to be the creators of their own culture and to learn to work in a collaborative setting.
Students will learn to express their ideas and emotions, individually and as a group, on topics chosen in advance or brainstormed during the initial session. The children are encouraged to listen to each other’s perspectives and learn about the importance of teamwork as they turn their ideas into song lyrics and melodies. Sign up for the two-day workshop (Wednesday, July 22, 7 p.m. and Thursday, July 23, 7 p.m.) and make music with new friends!
Registration required for two-day workshop (GoToMeeting details will be sent a few days for before the program). Parents must fill out this songwriting release form in addition to registering.
