Join us to enjoy chimney cake, a popular Hungarian pastry (also known as kürtosh). Kurly Kürtosh Café is your go-to destination for chimney cakes! You will learn about this specialty dessert while it is prepared and baked right in front of you. This is not a hands-on workshop, but you will learn about the Kurly story and the art of chimney cake baking. You will sample freshly baked chimney cake, and we will explore our classic and seasonal holiday flavors, like pumpkin spice, peppermint and more. This will be paired with our holiday themed ice cream! Find a friend and join us for an evening of discovery and deliciousness.
The founder lived in Hungary for four years where she honed her craftsmanship and was mentored by an award-winning chimney cake baker. She has been invited to bake at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, DC.
